Variations of the Ketogenic Diet


There are a number of variations on the Ketogenic Diet. The type of diet selected is generally determined by the treating neurologist based on the child’s medical and dietary history, in consultation with the family. The variations of the diet include:

  • The Classical Ketogenic Diet
  • The Modified Atkins Diet (MAD)
  • The Medium Chain Triglyceride (MCT) Oil Diet
