Observing / Recording Seizures

 

It can be very helpful for your Doctor to have an accurate account of the seizure events. This can be particularly important when your child has newly developed seizures. This information can help your Doctor try to work out what kind of seizures your child has experienced.

It can be helpful to record the seizure events with a video camera or phone. REMEMBER to always give first aid during a seizure and only record once safety has been ensured.
